1970 Mexican Ex Voto Painting, Retablo Master Vicente Barajas, Leon, Guanajuato Chinese Junk 1883 - 1938This is a 1970 Mexican Ex Voto Painting on Tin, depicting a sick man in a bed, below which a woman is on her knees praying to the Virgen de San Juan de Los Lagos. In the background is a cathedral in Leon, Guanajuato. The bottom is signed by the master retablo painter Vicente Barajas of Leon, GTO and dated Oct. 1970. Approx.
